I started off by rigging my 5.7m and cross, but by the time I was ready to get on the water things started looking a little hectic out there so I grabbed some demo kit (a 5.3m and a 94 ltr Naish Supercross) and quicly got out there. I had a few runs on that, but was too overpowered really, so came back in and changed down to my little wave board an 5m sail.

That was much better and I sailed for an hour or so, usually gettting overtaken by Spencer on most runs (I blame it on my kit!!). The wind was a little gusty and there was no real swell out the back for either jumping or gybing onto, but there was the odd bit of chop for some chop-hops and generally messing around. No one seemed that comfortable in the gusty winds, excpet of course the hot shots pulling ogg table-top forwards, grubby's and the like!

After a few hours on the water, the wind eased off a little and we came in and started pakcing up. Just as I released the downhaul on my 5m, then wind seemed to kick in again and Spencer who had yet to derig decided to go back out for some more. I quickly packed up and by now the wind had filled in nicely again and this time for the SW, so I quickly grabbed some more demo kit (Supercross again and 5.4m Sesion sail) and got back out there. This board was much quicker than my wave board and I finally got Spencer back by blasting past him and covering him with spray. It also jumped well and I was basically messing around having a laugh out there as a final flourish to a good day on the water.

There were quite a few F-O-N members there too (Spencer, MartinF, Wes, Johno, Mikeypies, probably a couple fo others too and some who confessed to being lurkers as well!!)
